PHP Sessions Issue

I get caught with this everytime I clean out my temp folders. I go to start up a PHP application (running on Windows IIS) and the session information is not retained. I go back and check my code that session_start() hasn't accidentally been commented out. The the light-bulb blinks on and I kick myself.... again.
